It’s time to shop for gifts for the holidays. Spring Hill College students take advantage of Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and online shopping for the Christmas season.

Black Friday has passed and Spring Hill College students took advantage of the discounts found in stores that day. Rilie Mcdaniel, a junior at Spring Hill College, said, “Always look through the clearance section thoroughly! There’s always hidden gems. Always try to find BOGO deals!”

Cyber Monday was also a popular shopping day for students. Companies give deals online this day. Brooke Evans, a junior at Spring Hill College, said, “I typically do all of my shopping on Amazon on Cyber Monday because I’m hella lazy and big crowds freak me out.”

Amazon Prime Student is also a way that students shop for the holidays. According to UWire, “College students can sign up for a six-month trial of Prime Student and enjoy fast, free delivery from Prime, thousands of movies and shows with Prime Video, ad-free music and more.” Evans said, “I also like Amazon because it generally has a much wider selection of items, and I have a student prime account so I don’t have to worry about shipping.”

Online shopping is very popular among students, and Amazon Prime Student is growing in popularity among students. Haley Rainey, a junior at Spring Hill College said, “I love Amazon Prime for students and shopping online for gifts.”

Online shopping is popular since college students don’t have a lot of time to shop with finals and school ending. Rainey said, “I don’t like shopping with crowds and I have more time to contemplate and continue on with my life and shopping by ordering online!”

If you didn’t do Black Friday shopping or Cyber Monday shopping, be sure to shop online using Amazon Prime Student for free shipping and fast delivery.
