Lambda Chi Alpha's annual philanthropy event, "Watermelon Bash", consisting of watermelon-related field day games, drew hundreds of students to compete on Saturday, September 23, 2017. All the proceeds from the event, which were mostly cans and monetary donations, were donated to an area food bank and "Feeding America" in support of hurricane relief efforts.
