The Spring Hill College men's and women's basketball teams celebrated Senior Night with a pair of victories on Wednesday night. See this for photos from the event.

The SHC women have moved a step closer to finishing the regular season with the best record in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) West Division. The Lady Badgers, at 21-6, must complete the second half of a suspended game on Saturday, Feb. 24, in order to finish atop the division in the regular season. On Wednesday, SHC defeated Lane College, 91-60. According to SHC Sports Information, senior guard Jewel Hill led the way with 34 points, making her just the 15th Badger to surpass the 1,000-career points mark.

The SHC men beat Lane College, 82-78, to close out their home regular season. The Badgers take a 12-15 record to Miles College for the final game of the year on Saturday, Feb. 24.  A win against Miles will give the Badgers their highest win total since the 2011-2012 season.
